the work of art in the age of mechanical reproduction is litterbug's covers ep, recorded as an addendum to the scent of new skins. litterbug decided to tackle 5 different songs with the challenge being to make each song the version the band would have made. songs include beat happening's i spy, eugene chadbourne's america stands tall, the mountain goats' pure love, donovan's there is a mountain, and a 13 and a half minute version of aqua's barbie girl.
